CAT Closing the Technician Skills Gap Program |

On August 31, 2024, ManpowerGroup Thailand had the honor of being a special guest speaker at the CAT Closing the Technician Skills Gap Program, organized by the Kenan Foundation Asia, and held at in Rayong. This two-day event brought together 100 enthusiastic technical college students from Chonburi and Rayong provinces, including students from Chonburi Technical College, Sattahip Technical College, Maptaphut Technical College, and Ban Khai Technical College.

Empowering Future Talent

Our participation focused on equipping students with essential skills for their future careers. Throughout the day, we engaged students in various activities designed to enhance their self-awareness, professional communication, and job application skills.

Key Highlights:

Professional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: We emphasized the importance of both verbal and non-verbal communication in the workplace, helping students understand how effective communication fosters strong professional relationships.
Resume Writing Workshop: Our interactive session provided students with hands-on experience in crafting tailored resumes for different industries, enhancing their chances of securing desired positions.
Mock Job Interviews: Students participated in simulated interviews, receiving invaluable feedback on their performance and interview techniques, preparing them for real-world job applications.
Creative and Critical Thinking: Through scenario analysis and problem-solving exercises, we encouraged students to develop their critical thinking skills, essential for navigating workplace challenges.
