Business Development Manager - Warehousing, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the warehousing sector. You will play a key role in expanding the company's warehousing services and ensuring revenue growth. This position requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to business development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Analyze market conditions and customer needs to develop targeted strategies for business development.
- Identify and approach potential clients in need of warehousing services.
- Create and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Present the company's warehousing solutions and value proposition to clients.
- Develop and implement a business development strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful service delivery.
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure contracts.
- Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Track and report on sales performance regularly.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Gather customer feedback to continuously improve services and client satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are compliant with legal and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and contracts.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the warehousing or logistics industry at least 3 years.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations and logistics processes.
- Able to calculate costs and prepare proposals for clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
- Good in English communication both spoken and written.
