Specific Responsibilities
Factory Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Ensure seamless material availability to meet production and order fulfillment requirements.
- Develop and maintain efficient logistics processes to minimize delays and optimize costs.
- Ensure suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to maintain a steady supply chain.
- Manage warehouse and inventory control systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Import & Export Compliance
- Oversee import/export processes, ensuring compliance with local customs laws and regulations.
- Manage documentation and regulatory requirements for shipments in free trade and domestic zones.
- Liaise with government agencies, customs authorities, and third-party logistics providers to resolve issues.
Operational & Financial Performance
- Take full responsibility for the site's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.
- Continuously assess and adjust operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Optimize cost structures while maintaining high service levels and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success.
Business Development & Customer Relations
- Identify and attract new customers to expand business opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align operational capabilities with market demand.
Process Improvement & Systems Management
- Leverage data analytics and system knowledge to streamline operations.
- Implement process improvements and automation strategies to enhance productivity.
- Ensure the adoption of best practices in factory operations and logistics management.
Competencies
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in factory logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Customs & Trade Knowledge: Strong understanding of import/export laws, free trade zones, and domestic trade regulations.
- Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage P&L, control costs, and drive profitability.
- Business & Strategic Thinking: Ability to adjust operational models for maximum efficiency and revenue growth.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Strong business development skills with the ability to attract and retain clients.
- Analytical & System Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, data analysis, and process optimization.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
