Key Responsibilities:
- Build, update, and lead the execution of 3-year customer segment strategies to drive value creation from a portfolio of products and services through effective communications, promotions, programs, and tools (e.g. CRM, 1:1 marketing), comprising of both push and pull strategies.
- Segment customers to map-out customer needs and buying processes to drive desired customer behavior changes.
- Provide monthly steering/guidance on campaign objectives and tactics to Marketing & Commercial leadership
- Establish and manage Customer Advisory Boards to test concepts, develop insights and identify emerging trends. Execute integration of customer input and customer segmentation strategies into activation plans to maximize opportunities for customer acquisition retention, cross-sell and up-sell
- Drive the execution of marketing programs and tactics (e.g. integrated offer, financial concepts, loyalty programs, digital marketing touchpoints) to ensure that they meet customer needs and can be measured and evaluated for effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure marketing activations meet established deadlines.
- Manage and coordinate the end-to-end process of developing, adapting and/or optimizing a variety of marketing materials while respecting cultural nuances and local preferences of specified markets.
- Lead segment teams comprising of Field Sales and Technical Support to collect inputs to influence strategy and tactics, as well as drive the implementation of local campaigns and CRM strategy with the sales force.
- Set performance targets and review effectiveness of initiatives and tactics within markets. Optimize resource allocation accordingly to achieve business goals.
- Actively participate/lead customer events, product & needs training and support product launches.
- Work with in-house experts and external agencies to support the management of product label artwork.
Requirements:
- Work history in Southeast Asia markets, particularly Malaysia and Thailand, preferred.
- B.A./B.S. Business or Marketing related discipline. Advanced related-degree (MBA) preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant business experience, preferably in marketing with a proven ability to activate strategic marketing plans and marketing campaigns.
- Excellent verbal, written and network communication skills to effectively inform and influence teams.
- Capable of building strategic relationships and influencing customer behavior via proper selection of integrated channels and activities.
- Strong analytical and business modelling skills.
- Experience creating long-term strategic plans, including preparing new products for testing and market launch.
- A proven work history of acting as a team player with outstanding organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills necessary to anticipate, pre-empt and deal with volatile, rapidly changing market conditions.
- Good command of English both written and spoken.
