Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute strategic plans for Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs targeting healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality educational delivery.
  • Organize and oversee CME conferences (onsite or virtual), including logistics, registrations, marketing, and financial tracking to ensure profitability.
  • Develop annual conference agendas and marketing strategies while researching industry trends for revenue generation and innovation opportunities.
  • Recruit and manage subject matter experts for presentations, including negotiating compensation and developing training programs for sales teams on product clinical value.
  • Train sales teams on clinical benefits, provide support during customer meetings, and represent the company at trade shows, customer visits, and user group meetings.
  • Create and maintain clinical documents, policies, and procedures to support sales efforts, continuously improving program appropriateness and success.
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecast revenues and expenses, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to exceed financial and operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the medical and clinical field, with at least 1 year in CME coordination; 3+ years in conference/event management preferred.
  • Proven expertise in business development, curriculum development, and outcomes-based professional education programs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and excellent communication abilities, including presentations, writing, and active listening.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs, meet timelines, and adhere to budgets with leadership and project management experience.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written), with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with training development, clinical documentation creation, and supporting cross-functional teams to drive business success.
