Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing commercial strategies to maximize revenue, expand market share, and identify new business opportunities within the port and terminal sector.
- Oversee contract negotiations, review terms, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and service providers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, address concerns, and act as a point of contact for commercial inquiries and negotiations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business development. Provide insights to support decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting related to commercial activities. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to assess profitability and support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations for potential clients. Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote services and attract new business.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, trade laws, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate commercial risks through proactive measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- 10 years of proven experience in commercial management, preferably within the port and terminal industry or related logistics field.
- Well understanding with work with multi-national company.
- Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract negotiations, and business development strategies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills and English language skill.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in commercial management.
