Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete fit-out design within data halls, from initial client consultation to final project handover, including cable tray, grounding, ceeform, combined service drawings, etc.,
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their requirements, gather specifications, and manage expectations.
- Manage external consultants, providing clear direction and ensuring deliverables meet project requirements.
- Overall of the procurement and installation of all necessary equipment and materials.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time, and to the highest quality standards. This includes regular site inspections, quality control checks, and proactive problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports to management and clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all project documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in the commissioning and handover of completed projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center fit-out projects, with a demonstrable focus on data hall infrastructure installation.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and expectations.
- Experience managing external consultants and contractors.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
