Deputy Production Manager Position:
Job Description:
- Co-Manage the production department in focusing on management, cooperate and improvement in order to meet quality requirement and OTIF deliveries, agreed efficiencies and waste level.
- Support and drive Operational Excellence and Lean Management with focus on optimizing process flow and reduction of non-value-added waste following the core principles of respecting every individual, lead with humility, seek perfection, assure quality at the source, focus on process, think systemically, create constancy of purpose and create value for the internal customer.
- Manage training staff to achieve high efficiency and waste improvement, low waste late, good quality and OTIF as well as a good general discipline.
- Actively promote and contribute to CIP for safety, quality, efficiency and waste improvement.
- Support and drive operational excellence and lean management with focus to optimizing process flow and reduce nonvalue added waste.
- Conduct line audits and co-ordinate corrective and preventive actions with the maintenance department to ensure that the machines are systematically maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Experienced at least 10 years in production and shop floor management in a manufacturing business type.
- Fluent in analytic skill by having statistical analysis tool competency.
- High problem-solving skills.
- Good in English.
- Experience in Food or Packaging quality compliance systems are advantage.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point).
