Job Description
- Developing and maintaining a complete engineering packet for the manufacture of machined parts.
- Designing, developing, and implementing the machining process of complex parts to align with manufacturing practices, industry standards, and customers' requirements.
- Complying with the company safety rules and policies.
- Reviewing 3D designs, engineering drawings, models, and/or samples for CNC machining operation.
- Creating CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to support Turn-Mill 5-Axis machines.
- Setup tooling/machine for test cut during the trial process until achieve the first-article parts.
- Making improvements to set up process, improve efficiency and output - reduce setup time, reduce setup scrap.
- Monitoring all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely complete the task.
- Following up corrective actions on Quality Issues, Processes & Design functions.
- Working with the production team and quality team to ensure all customers' on-time delivery.
Qualification
- At least Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Good in spoken and written English is required.
- Good attitude and always have safety mind.
- 5 Years experience in Automotive/Aerospace industry related to CNC 5Axis Turn-mill or Machining Center (Mazak control is preferred)
- Able to interpret engineering drawings with fully understanding GD&T symbol.
- Expertise in CAD/CAM programs ( Autodesk Feature CAM and Mazak Smooth CAM are preferred)
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Office, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Solid foundational understanding of the machining process, including CNC turning, milling, EDM, honing, and drilling.
