Engineering Section Manager (Painting Process)
Responsibility:
To ensure the engineers are implementing change in line with the work allocated.
Ensure that new model implementation and approvals are aligned to strategic key dates.
Ensuring the integrity of plant and process.
Liaise with the global team to conclude development requirements.
Work closely with your line manger to ensure all milestones are met and issues reported.
Work closely with the Snr managers to ensure daily production / quality concerns are dealt with in a timely manner.
Report back key concerns & issues to Snr Managers daily or sooner as required.
Guide the engineers in their daily tasks and ensure appropriate responses.
Promote continuous engineering improvements.
Maintain an environment of trust and appreciation, fostering team spirit.
Ensure that employees work safely at all times.
Comply with all applicable SHE & legal requirements.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, electrical, or chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in Developing and improving for painting process (new model or projects, process solutions and additional equipment).
Good command of both written and spoken English.
