Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Food and Beverage team to develop and execute culinary strategies that align with brand standards and exceed guest expectations.
  • Create innovative menus that reflect culinary trends, menus from around the world, religious and guest personal dietary requirements, and guest preferences, while maintaining the cost control.
  • Manage food inventory, procurement, and cost control measures to optimize resources and minimize waste.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Mentor and develop the culinary team, providing training opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring the availability of premium ingredients and fostering a sustainable and responsible approach.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Management team to plan and execute special events, themed dining experiences, and culinary promotions.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Island and private resort or villas experience will be advantages.
  • Exceptional culinary skills in Thai dishes and menus from around the world with a passion for creating innovative and visually appealing dishes.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with a track record of inspiring and motivating a diverse culinary team.
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with team members, management and owner.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • A deep commitment to culinary excellence and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
