Finance and Accounting Manager
The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of a company's operations. Focus on strategic financial planning, investment analysis,
capital management including the accounting and financial reporting functions of a company to ensure accurate and compliant financial records and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capital Budgeting: Evaluating and selecting investment projects that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Capital Structure Management: Determining the optimal mix of debt and equity financing to fund operations and growth.
- Financial Planning: Developing financial forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Internal Controls: Establishing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain financial accuracy.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborating with other departments to create budgets and financial forecasts.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations and managing tax filings.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinating internal and external audits and addressing audit findings.
- Team Management: Supervising and managing a team of accountants and financial analysts.
- Transfer Pricing: Manage Transfer pricing issues and conform to local tax office requirements.
- Any ad hoc finance related tasks
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is mandatory.
- At least 8 years of relevant audit experience, which includes at least 3 years in a managerial role, with a minimum of 3 years in an audit capacity.
- Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software (preferably IFS or another ERP accounting system) is essential.
