Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and other reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create accurate and achievable financial plans and budgets.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring realistic and strategic financial planning.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions to support audits, tax filings, and other financial operations.
  • Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives to optimize resources and improve profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets and provide recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis for investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in [industry if applicable].
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems is a plus.
