Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and other reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to create accurate and achievable financial plans and budgets.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring realistic and strategic financial planning.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
- Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions to support audits, tax filings, and other financial operations.
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives to optimize resources and improve profitability.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and provide recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis for investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in [industry if applicable].
