Responsibility:
- To set up, coordinate, facilitate and develop and Quality activities for Automotive Aftermarke Asia Pacific in order to create and maintain a profitable and competitive product portfolio and support business development for all markets in the region.
- Responsible for creation and implementing a strategy for the business growth of product lines and service portfolio.
- Identification of new product lines for new business generation.
- Roll out and expand service offer.
- Achieve KPIs defined by Management and as per Management Handbook for area of responsibility.
- Maintaining profitable and competitive product portfolio in the region and process in the region together with Sales.
- Collaboration with ATech Businesss units and plants to secure necessary production capacities, new product developments and cost/portfolio optimization measures.
- Analyze competitor information/products for product portfolio.
- Prioritize activities according to market needs and Return on Investment.
- Responsible for range extension of products in coordination with sales, ATech BUs and purchasing department.
- Purchase relevant car parc data and maintain data base.
- Central point of contact to all fields of Automotive Aftermarket in terms of product coverage, potential products, product development and technical market intelligence Identifying, prioritizing and Implementing product development projects to increase competitiveness in the market, Tracking business cases of new projects to ensure ROI.
- Constant reporting to management on market situation and in-house situation from product point of view.
- Developing employees to perform according to business needs.
- Constant monitoring and review of portfolio prices versus competitor.
- Responsible to ensure quality management standards in the region.
- Control of operative quality topics.
- Develop regional quality organization.
- Increase quality awareness and quality skills in the region.
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Business Administration.
- 10 years of experience in market intelligence, business development, product management and project management or R&D.
- At least 5 years in leadership experience in similar role.
- Very good spoken and written English.
- Good MS Office knowledge in particular MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams.
- Cost Center Control in SAP.
- Strong technical knowledge in Automotive Products (production process, materials, design, testing, supplier management), technically and economically minded.
- Knowledge in company products and production processes appreciated.
- Analytical and conceptional thinking, high organizational skills, experience in working under pressure, very good communication skills, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, willing to travel within and outside Asia Pacific, able to work within complex matrix organizations
