This role is crucial for shaping and executing HR strategies that enhance organizational development and ensure a superior workforce capable of meeting the demands of a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Mandate and Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and execute a cohesive HR strategy that aligns with the company's transformation into a world-class manufacturing, distribution, and operational entity.
- Partner with senior leadership to foster a high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Lead organizational change initiatives to enhance efficiency, agility, and competitiveness across all levels of the business.
Talent Management:
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to meet the organization's human capital needs.
- Design and implement programs to identify, nurture, and develop leadership potential within the organization.
- Create a comprehensive workforce planning strategy to align staffing levels with production demands.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and administer competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits plans to attract and retain top talent.
- Regularly review market trends to ensure pay structures are aligned with industry benchmarks.
Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve complex employee relations issues while balancing employee needs with organizational objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that supports open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Lead the development and integration of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory obligations in Thailand.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure alignment with both legal requirements and organizational goals.
Performance Management and Development:
- Oversee the implementation of performance management systems to drive individual and team excellence.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to upskill employees and promote career advancement.
HR Operations:
- Manage HR operations, including payroll, general administration, and human resources information systems (HRIS).
- Ensure the HR function operates efficiently and effectively, with measurable metrics for success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Master's Degree or relevant certifications (e.g., HRM, HRD) are preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role in a manufacturing.
- Proven track record in organizational development, new plant setup, or implementing successful HR strategies.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance requirements in Thailand.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Visionary thinker with the ability to act as both a strategic business partner and a hands-on HR practitioner.
- Strong collaboration and people management skills.
