HSE Manager (Chemical Manufacturing 100K)
Developing and Implementing HSE Policies:
Develop, implement, and review health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Ensure that the company's operations comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and standards.
Risk Assessment and Management:
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Training and Education:
Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
Ensure that all employees are informed about safety procedures and regulations.
Incident Investigation:
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain records of all incidents and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
Audits and Inspections:
Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
Environmental Compliance:
Monitor and manage environmental aspects of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Implement programs to reduce the company's environmental impact.
Emergency Response Planning:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.
Regulatory Compliance:
Keep abreast of changes in HSE regulations and ensure that the company remains in compliance with all applicable laws.
SHE Manager works closely with Lucite International HSE networks and with every department internal and external as HSE Committee, safety teams and government officer.
Also respond for ISO, TISI, and other business system as QMR, EMR, OH&SMR
Manage overall HSE documentation procedure to meet the policy standards and guidelines.
Receive and create the targets of HSE and execute through the line function for achieving.
Activities will be managed and controlled following the HSE Improvement Plan and the report of each subordinate will be presented to the job holder.
Safety, health, environment, and security must support the line function to meet policy and targets.
Policy, HSE Improvement Plan and Plan to achieve 100% compliance with the manufacturing HSE guidelines will be submitted to Operation Manager and will be approved by Managing Director.
Coordinate with every department, HSE Committee, safety teams and government officer.
Ensure that all employees understand and follow the HSE regulations and procedures of the site.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees may be preferred.
Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent may be preferred.
Several years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the chemical industry.
In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions.
Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance and accurately assess risks.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments.
Ability to adapt to changes in regulations, company operations, and industry best practices.
