Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the automotive manufacturing industry. Serve as the primary contact for all client inquiries, requests, and negotiations.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales targets and growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts. Implement strategies to expand the business footprint with key clients.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Understand the unique needs of automotive manufacturing clients and work closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, production, R&D) to ensure that products and services are tailored to meet those needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the client while maintaining profitability.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services, aligned with client expectations and industry standards. Resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery schedules, or customer service.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive sector. Develop strategies to acquire new accounts and penetrate untapped markets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the automotive manufacturing industry. Use this information to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Conduct regular meetings with key clients to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and implement improvements as needed to strengthen the business relationship.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management. Analyze sales data to assess progress toward sales goals and recommend course corrections when necessary.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience in sales management in the automotive sector is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the automotive manufacturing industry. Proven experience managing key accounts in a B2B environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, industry standards, and client requirements. Familiarity with automotive components and supply chain management is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical and business concepts clearly to both internal teams and clients.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical product specifications and how they relate to customer needs in the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
