We're looking for a highly motivated Marketing Manager for our client FMCG (personal care) international company.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plan for a company brand portfolio for the relevant categories to ensure sustainable business growth in identified product categories in the market. These products must satisfy consumer demand, and be actively promoted in a manner sufficient to achieve company's objectives
- Oversee the management of all pieces of the Consumer Marketing Mix including Product, Target Consumer, Advertising, Consumer Promotions, Target Pricing, Packaging…
- Undertakes the brand and business development responsibility. Ensure our brand(s) achieve top-of-mind awareness with our target audience, and we are present in all key product categories in order to be a leader in them
- Joint responsibility with Finance/Logistics, Trade Marketing and Sales to complete the monthly order and forecasting process, including the issuance of Purchase Orders, to ensure product availability for sale, and ensure warehouse storage costs and inventory days are maintained at cost-effective levels
- As a team, work with Finance, Trade Marketing and Sales to manage all warehouses (including goods return w/h) to be at levels that meet and support the companies' objectives. Regularly visit warehouse along with Finance, Trade Marketing and Sales team to inspect product and conduct any other business as may be required
- Monitor the progress of marketing plans being implemented, and propose modification as deemed necessary
- Prepare all marketing and brand reports as may be required
- Set and enforce schedule of team market visits
- Manage the process of identifying, qualifying, and managing vendors, with biannual revalidation schedule. Audit existing vendors as necessary
- Maintain professional and effective working relationship with all vendor
- Manage all aspects of marketing planning for the budgeting process, and ensure team's actual budget remains within approved budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- English fluency (both written and spoken)
- 15 years of experience with 5 years of proven track record in a Marketing role managerial level.
- Experience managing a successful consumer marketing team for a fast moving consumer goods company (FMCG) or demonstration of the potential to run a team based on having served as a Senior Product Manager for a significant product line within a highly respected company
- Experience in defining and executing traditional and digital (e-commerce & social media) consumer marketing strategies and campaigns.
