Material Planning & Master Data Specialist 307

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute MRP to meet production schedules and minimize material shortages.
• Analyze and forecast demand based on production plans and customer orders.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory.
• Implement strategies for inventory control and reduction, including Just-In-Time (JIT) and Kanban systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and quantities to align with production needs.
• Create and manage purchase orders for materials and ensure accurate and timely receipt.
• Track and expedite orders as necessary to maintain production flow.
• Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
• Address and resolve material shortages or discrepancies impacting production.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data for materials, suppliers, and inventory within the ERP system.
• Validate and update data regularly to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate master data across systems.
• Support ERP system upgrades and enhancements related to material and inventory data.
• Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, material usage, and supply chain performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or master data management.
• Experience with SAP systems and MRP tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Access).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
