Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize CM capacity utilization.
  • Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), suppliers, and internal teams (procurement, engineering, and quality) to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor material planning, inventory levels, and lead times to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Analyze forecast data and customer orders to adjust production schedules accordingly.
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to align shipments with production schedules.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, delays, and production issues with CMs to maintain on-time delivery performance.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD), production efficiency, and inventory turnover.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate reports and maintain accurate planning data.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure production output meets customer and regulatory standards.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve planning processes, cost efficiency, and supply chain optimization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related role within electrical manufacturing.
  • Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and managing outsourced production processes.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret forecast data, demand planning, and capacity constraints.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with CMs and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
