Procurement Manager (Leasing)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement process for vehicle leasing, ensuring timely acquisition of vehicles, parts, and related services.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and ensure quality standards are met.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for competitive pricing, favorable terms, and service agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance to ensure consistent product and service quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, etc.) to align procurement activities with company objectives and requirements.
- Monitor market trends and assess potential new suppliers to ensure the best purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement processes.
- Develop and manage procurement budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for vehicle leasing operations.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive or leasing industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of market trends and supplier landscape in the automotive sector.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
