Product Design and Project Management Manager

Position Overview:
To support our strategic business plan and maintain our rhythm of product renewal, the R&D manager oversees a team that promotes technical innovation, develops, designs, modifies, and certifies new products and their components.
The team manages technical specifications, ensures conformity to norms, tests solutions, and directs the industrial investment plan through competitive market analysis.
The Research and Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and design of new products, as well as managing changes to current products.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in product development and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and design of new products from concept to launch.
• Manage and implement changes to existing products to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure with Laboratory team the realization of internal tests for safety, reliability and conformity in accordance with internal and international standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, process, supply chain and quality, to ensure successful product development.
• Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify opportunities for new product development.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Animate innovation and cost optimisation project to keep competitiveness in all markets.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the R&D team

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product development, with a focus on new product design and improvement of existing products.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Software proficiency : MS office, CAD (Creo), MS Project.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
