Responsible for managing products, covering everything from product development and marketing strategy to product launch and post-launch maintenance to ensure market success. The manager must have deep knowledge of the industry and emerging trends while collaborating with various teams to ensure the product meets market demands effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development and Strategy
- Oversee the entire product development process, from ideation and design to launch.
- Coordinate with R&D, design, and production teams to create products that align with consumer needs and market trends.
- Develop new product strategies and market expansion plans tailored to target audiences.
2. Market Research and Trend Analysis
- Analyze beauty market trends, consumer purchasing behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
- Gather customer feedback and suggestions to refine products to meet consumer needs.
- Assess sales performance and insights to adjust strategies accordingly.
3. Product Positioning and Branding
- Develop pricing and marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, packaging design, and content tailored to target audiences.
4. Budget Management and Pricing Strategy
- Determine product pricing based on market analysis, costs, and profit targets.
- Manage and control budgets to ensure product development aligns with financial plans.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to maintain high product quality standards.
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor product performance, including sales, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide reports and insights to management for strategic product decisions.
7.Customer Engagement and Education
- Build relationships with customers and key influencers in the beauty industry, such as bloggers and influencers.
- Organize educational activities about the products both online and offline.
