Project Engineering Director - LNG Terminal
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the engineering aspects of the LNG terminal project, ensuring successful project development and execution.
  • Develop and implement project engineering strategies, including scope, design, schedule, budget, and resource planning.
  • Manage all pre-construction engineering activities, including:
  • Conceptual design and technical development of the project.
  • Oversee the procurement process for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, from drafting the Terms of Reference (TOR) to contract signing.
  • Provide engineering support for permits, licenses, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes, legal requirements, financing, and Board of Investment (BOI) matters.
  • Oversee the project's execution phase, ensuring engineering deliverables meet project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage the engineering team, collaborating closely with procurement and construction departments.
  • Ensure efficient contract management, risk assessment, mitigation, and change management.
  • Conduct detailed resource planning and scheduling for engineering activities.
  • Support project closure by documenting lessons learned and ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to address engineering-related challenges throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience, with at least 10 years in a similar role within the LNG or energy sector.
  • Strong expertise in engineering, project management, and risk management.
  • Extensive knowledge of EPC contracts and experience managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites, both domestically and internationally.
  • Goal-oriented with strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and empower engineering teams.
