Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Safety, Health, and Environment Management program in compliance with legal and international standards.
  • Continuously improve the Occupational Health Management system, including audits, safety activities, awareness campaigns, and illness & injury prevention plans.
  • Report, investigate, analyze, and document all near misses, incidents/accidents, and regulatory compliances.
  • Provide safety and health resources for management decision-making to prevent hazards through risk assessments and evaluations of environmental and social impacts.
  • Develop annual plans and projects on work safety, health, and environment for management approval.
  • Organize site safety committees, revise emergency safety plans, and update safety manuals.
  • Coordinate and monitor all safety-related training programs to ensure safety practices are implemented.
  • Train and advise staff at all levels to perform potentially hazardous work safely.
  • Monitor workplace operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct workplace accident investigations, report results and proposals to management.
  • Submit required reports to government offices on time, analyze safety incident data, and make recommendations to prevent injuries or disturbances.
  • Supervise the storage of chemicals and hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety manuals.
  • Develop and implement an annual safety plan.
  • Prepare reports and certify the safety of hazardous material storage.
  • Serve as PSM Lead Auditor and support annual PSM audits.
  • Act as ISO9001/14001 Internal Auditor.
  • Manage environmental management and waste management.
  • Lead and organize 6S activities



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, with at least 8 credits in chemistry.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Safety Management and Occupational Health systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and PSM management system standards and certification.
  • Experience in advanced incident investigation and prevention, and managing positive changes in SHE performance.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Certified Hazardous Substance Specialist (Bor Chor 3) with a License of Specialist Undertaking in Hazardous Substance.
  • Experience and knowledge of gas safety is an advantage.
