Our company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Safety, Health, and Environment Supervisor. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management Program within the factory, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, occupational health standards, and relevant international standards.
- Continuously enhance the Occupational Health Management System, including audit programs, safety activities, awareness campaigns, and illness & injury prevention plans. Oversee the reporting, investigation, analysis, and documentation of near misses, incidents, accidents, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide Safety & Health resources to support management decision-making and mitigate hazards associated with business operations. Conduct risk assessments and evaluate potential environmental and social impacts, addressing issues related to the health and safety of employees, local communities, and other stakeholders.
- Develop annual plans and projects related to work safety, health, and the environment for management approval.
- Organize and schedule site safety committee meetings, update emergency safety plans, and revise safety manuals as needed.
- Coordinate and monitor all safety-related training programs to ensure the implementation of safety practices.
- Train and advise staff at all levels to safely perform potentially hazardous or dangerous work.
- Monitor compliance with safety and environmental regulations across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure that workplace operations align with safety and environmental conditions.
- Conduct workplace accident investigations, report findings, and propose corrective actions to management.
- Compile and submit reports required by government agencies in a timely manner. Analyze safety incident/accident data, issue safety reports, and make recommendations regarding workplace injuries, sicknesses, or disturbances.
- Supervise operations to ensure compliance with manuals for the storage of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Develop and implement an annual safety plan.
- Prepare reports and certify the safety of hazardous material storage.
- Serve as the Process Safety Management (PSM) Lead Auditor, supporting annual PSM audits by providing information and responding to auditors.
- Conduct ISO 9001/14001 internal audits.
- Oversee environmental management and waste management activities.
- Lead and organize 6S activities (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, with at least 8 credits in chemistry.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Safety Management and Occupational Health Systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, PSM management systems standards and certifications, and SHE standards.
- Experience in advanced incident investigation, prevention, and driving improvements in SHE performance.
- Strong leadership skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Licensed Specialist in Hazardous Substances (Bor Chor) - Certified as a Hazardous Substance Specialist (Bor Chor 3).
- Experience and knowledge of gas management is an advantage.
