Job Summary:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the supply chain for electronic and electrical assembly products. This role encompasses customer service, planning (demand, material, production), procurement, logistics (import-export), inventory management, warehousing, and delivery. You will ensure that supply chain operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with both local and global strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding supply chain issues.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to supply chain operations.
- Monitor and improve customer service metrics related to delivery times and order accuracy.
Planning:
- Demand Planning: Forecast customer demand to ensure timely procurement and production.
- Material Planning: Ensure availability of materials required for production.
- Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand and optimize resources.
Procurement:
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and services.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Logistics (Import-Export):
- Coordinate the import and export of goods in compliance with international trade regulations.
- Manage logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to shipping, customs, and documentation.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance supply and demand.
- Implement inventory control measures to reduce excess stock and stockouts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee warehouse operations including storage, handling, and distribution.
- Implement best practices for warehouse organization and safety.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency.
Delivery:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Develop and monitor delivery performance metrics.
- Address and resolve delivery-related issues promptly.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to the General Manager and Global Management Team.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to apply best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on electronic/electrical assembly products.
- Proven experience in managing complex supply chains, including customer service, planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
