Position: Senior Corporate Lawyer (Law firm)
Location: Bangkok (On-site)
Type: Full-Time
Working Days: Mon-Fri

Responsibilities:
1. Legal Consultancy and Support:

  • Assist and coordinate with Group Management to provide legal consultancy to clients.
  • Offer expert legal advice on various matters, focusing on risk mitigation.

2. Contract Management:

  • Draft, review, and revise commercial contracts in both Thai and English, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Prepare due diligence reports for land and companies, along with various business contracts.
  • Provide legal opinions based on comprehensive analysis and research.

3. Corporate and Commercial Services:

  • Facilitate the setup of companies for clients and manage all aspects of the company registration process.
  • Prepare applications for the Department of Business Development (DBD), foreign business, investment promotion, and free zone operations.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.

4. Coordination and Communication:

  • Communicate with relevant officials to ensure smooth workflows and timely task completion.
  • Coordinate legal activities between partners and clients, including negotiations with Thai authorities.

5. Team Support and Autonomy:

  • Execute tasks independently when the team is unavailable, taking full responsibility for task complexity.
  • Oversee and manage the legal team, promoting training on relevant legal updates.

6. Team Leading:

  • Coach and manage 1-2 legal associates, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality legal support.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a well-reputed law firm.
  • Thai Lawyer License is mandatory.
  • English language skills; proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Experience with foreign business licenses (FBL), Board of Investment (BOI) applications, and visa/work permits is highly regarded.
  • Experienced in coaching or training junior legal associates.
