Job Summary:
Senior Maintenance - Utility Engineer to play a critical role in turn around old facility & manufacturing processes which are similar to new plant setup. This position requires a strong technical background in identity of total plant utility requirement, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in new plant installation and preparing the proposal for future extension phase.
Key Responsibilities:
● Pre-Startup Activities: Leading in the installation and commissioning of utility systems, including Cooling tower, heat exchanger, chillier,compressed air, and water treatment systems.
Conduct the pre-startup and get into the conclusion for pre-setup inspections and testing of utility equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead predictive maintenance and develop the implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) plans tailored to the unique needs of wire and cable manufacturing.
● Startup and Commissioning: Daily routine for monitoring and optimizing of performance to meet production targets and energy efficiency goals.
● Post-Startup Maintenance: Perform routine Predictive maintenance tasks and ensure preventive maintenance program is respected and updated to ensure the optimal equipment reliability.
Provide the guideline/support to maintenance technicians and supervisors and repair equipment failures promptly, minimizing production disruptions and maximizing uptime.
● Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities in all aspects for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures, leveraging industry best practices and innovative technologies.
Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve energy efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in wire and cable manufacturing technology and industry trends.
Qualifications:
● Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant utility , preferably in the wire and cable industry.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electrical or mechanical (with Engineering license). (Master's degree preferred).
Proven track record in new plant setup and commissioning, with a strong emphasis on utility systems.
In-depth knowledge of various utility systems, including boilers, chillers, Cooling tower and heat exchanger, compressed air, and water treatment systems, as applied to wire and cable manufacturing.
