Responsibilities:
- Report to the Process Engineering Manager and work closely with product development.
- Production and Quality to ensure the stability on product & process.
- Support the new project launch and continuous process improvements
- Lead / Support for problem solving process to achieve the quality target.
- Support to set up and implement the standardization in the process.
- Lead the PFMEA team to assess the potential failure mode, take the actions to improve RPN.
- Support to drive the continuous improvement/ kaizen culture & activity including cost reduction
project. - Continue follow up and ensure that the policy deployment targets are achieved.
- Support LEAN implementation, active participation in workshop activity with generating the
Lean improvement project. - Support the Productivity and cycle time improvement.
- Responsible for process documentation preparation (Flow chart, PFMEA, Control plan, work
instruction, line calibration matrix). - Support the new project launch to ensure that the project performance are achieved before
transferring to production phase. - Support to improve the Jig/Fixture concept design and implement POKAYOKE.
- Support new line set up. Provide production data such as productivity, cycle time, investment
cost. - Support to provide the process time standard and process methodology to ensure the process
stability and effective in process cost.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Industrial, Production/Manufacturing Engineering)
or related field. - At least 6 years of experience in Process Engineering.
- Knowledge/experience in Lean / Six Sigma will be advantage.
- Knowledge in PFMEA, control plan, MSA, SPC, DOE.
- Good command in English.
- Strong in Engineering mindset and hands-on.
- Knowledge in IATF 16949 and VDA will be advantage.
