Supplier Quality Assurance Position:
Job Description:
- Manage plant supplier complaint process.
- Interface with regional/global or other SQAs, Engineering & Quality and other relevant sections.
- Support APQP, PPAP and Safety launch supplier for plant.
- Support the plant purchasing team on local VA/VE Activities.
- Manage supplier IATF16949 requirement for the plant.
- Support supplier and plant changes impacting assigned plant.
- Support incoming inspection according to inspection plan and coordinate to supply in case reject found.
- Manage and control receiving inspection process to enhance efficiency of quality receiving inspection process.
- Manage Supplier Non-Conforming Report (SNCR) until efficiency close 8D report.
- Coordinate with Purchasing team to perform supplier annual audit base on risk analysis with include annual PPAP review.
- Coordinate with Corporate SQE or person concerning quality assurance of overseas supplier.
- Incoming quality part and support production team for solving immediate problems and take corrective action for the continuous production line.
- Contact with supplier (In Country and Oversea) to Inform concerning part quality from production line and release quality issue (NCR) to supplier in case of reject, then follow up quality problem solving and improvement action.
- Adjust & Review defect out of STD for supplier part.
- Analyze quality concern from customer claim using 4M or 7 Tools analysis.
- Reply countermeasure with root cause, corrective action and preventive action to customer by 8D or presentation report
- Monitor and evaluate suppliers as Quality Performance monthly.
- Control, improve and suggest components quality issues to meet the Company requirement for suppliers.
- Develop local supplier for new components and Engineering Change.
- Manage product change. (Engineering, production source and production line) and value Engineering by coordinating with Program Management.
- Provide the training of new and current product reading for raw material and component parts to inspectors.
- Safety and Compliance Maintain or minimize OHS Hazard/Risk and Environmental impact from any activities perform in the premise.
- Drive all necessary actions to achieve the best supplier quality by evaluating, developing assigned suppliers and ensuring quality in projects to achieve zero defects.
- Lead yearly requalification plan with suppliers.
- Proactively initiate actions or initiatives at supplier to support target achievement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years in Supplier Quality for manufacturing environment and automotive experience in matrix environment.
- Good knowledge of Core Quality Tools of IATF 16949 (Automotive quality standards-APQP/PPAP/FMEA/MSA/SPC).
- Good knowledge in Engineering drawing, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Measuring tool e.g. Vernier caliper, CMM, Profile projector, Height gauge, checking fixture.
- Good command of English.
