Technology Director
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technology Director
to lead our organization's information technology operations. The Technology Director will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, managing IT projects, and ensuring the delivery of reliable and secure IT services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of successfully implementing and managing IT solutions.
Responsibilities:

  • ERP Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and successful deployment of the ERP system throughout the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure the ERP system meets business requirements and drives process optimization.
  • Systems Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business systems, workflows, and processes to identify areas for improvement and determine how the ERP system can best support business needs. Propose and implement IT solutions, including ERP customization and integration with existing systems.
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the IT team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient and effective IT support and operations.
  • IT Strategy: Develop and execute the IT strategy with a specific focus on ERP implementation and systems analysis. Ensure that IT initiatives align with the organization's business objectives.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures, with particular attention to the security of ERP data and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with ERP vendors and other external partners to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the ERP system. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • IT Projects: Manage and coordinate IT projects, especially those related to ERP implementation, from planning and scoping to execution and completion. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, with a particular emphasis on ERP data and system recovery.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and issue resolution to end-users during Technology Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging IT technologies, trends, and best practices, particularly those relevant to ERP systems and business process optimization.
  • IT Policies and Documentation: Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation related to ERP implementation and IT operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their ERP needs, align IT initiatives with business goals, and drive the successful adoption of the ERP system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in IT management roles, with a focus on ERP implementation and systems analysis.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and security.
  • Hands-on experience in successful ERP implementations, including ERP customization and integration with existing systems.
  • Knowledge of IT project management methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with IT compliance standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals and drive IT innovation.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
