Outbound Reservation Officer
Our client is a leading travel agency, specializing in outbound tours
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle reservations for outbound travel, including flights, hotels, tour packages, transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Communicate with land operator via phone, email, and messaging platforms to provide travel information, confirm bookings, and assist with inquiries.
- Work closely with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel service providers to secure the best rates and availability.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and send booking confirmations to clients.
- Assist in resolving travel disruptions, cancellations, and itinerary changes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all reservations and transactions in the booking system.
- Keep up to date with visa requirements, travel restrictions, and industry trends to advise customers accordingly.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of travel plans.
- Provide post-trip follow-ups and gather feedback to enhance service quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years of experience in travel reservations, customer service, or a related role in the tourism industry
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of European travel routes, attractions, and tour planning is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of international travel regulations, airline policies, and tour operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and handle last-minute changes.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel booking software.
