Logistic Officer
Our client is a prominent company in the heavy machinery industry. (located near a BTS station)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire administrative process related to sales, transportation, and customs clearance.
- Oversee sales order processing, including:
- Inputting and validating orders in the ERP system and SOR website module.
- Ensuring compliance with company pricing policies.
- Coordinating with forwarders, factories, and customers to arrange pick-ups and prepare necessary transport and customs documentation.
- Negotiating and selecting carriers to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Supervise customer relationship management by:
- Ensuring accurate data registration.
- Handling disputes, complaints, and customer inquiries promptly.
- Process and validate invoices in the ERP system and monitor customer payments in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Prepare and generate shipping documents as per country-specific requirements, including packing lists, commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Oversee purchase orders and manage external service providers.
- Track and monitor shipment routing, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Record and report monthly metrics, such as backlog, ETA/ETD, and shipped unit details, in cooperation with the Finance Team.
- Arrange and coordinate the return process for failed units when necessary.
- Support team members in skill development and provide relevant training.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in MRP systems, particularly for order entry and invoicing.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience in Heavy Machine, Full Container Load is an advantage.
