HR Strategy and Administration Management:

  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR activities within agreed format and timeframe.
  • Oversee the operations and achieve strategic improvement and development in areas of employee time attendance and payroll, annual increase, employee promotion and transfer process followed according to the Club's procedures.
  • Liaise with Department/Division Managers to ensure that HR best practice is undertaken at the Club
  • Contribute to the development of HR strategies and performance in co-operation with the General Manager.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all relevant legislations and court cases to ensure that the Clubs meet all labour law requirements.
  • Ensure that personnel reports and statistics are provided on an ad-hoc basis to meet management requirements.
  • Ensure that appropriate job descriptions are developed and maintained for all jobs in the Clubs.
  • Analyze causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of Club's HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the Clubs meet all health and safety requirement in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Act as Duty Manager on rotation assignment.
  • Attend monthly managers' meeting and take assigned actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and the F&A / IT Sub-Com.

Employee Relations Management:

  • Monitor the Club staff benefits and make recommendations on changes as required.
  • Maintain the Club's Staff Handbook.
  • Liaise with the Club Employees' Benefits Committee.
  • Plan, organize, control or coordinate with the personnel, and labor relations activities of the Club.

Conflict Management:

  • Provide ad-hoc advice support to Managers and staff on any HR matters or job-related issues.
  • Represent the Club at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Serve as a link between management and staff by handling questions, interpreting and administering.
  • contracts and helps resolve work-related problems.
  • Manage conflict situations related to Club staff.

Recruitment and Retention Management:

  • Develop and maintain the Club's established recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the places for job adverts in local, national, and online media.
  • Administer the recruitment process including short-listed candidates' interview, any applicable tests, written correspondence, and reference checks.
  • Devise strategic and timely recruitment tools in line with company growth objectives.
  • Manage preferred recruitment suppliers and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Oversee an exit interview to identify reasons for staff's resignation and provide feedback to the General Manager and the respective Managers.

Training / Staff & Organization Development

  • Oversee the process of analyzing the training needs requirement.
  • Support Managers in the selection, provision, and measurement of internal and external training.
  • Ensure an effective orientation programmed is provided for all new staff.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Managers to support and develop processes for succession planning, staff development, performance management, and administration of benefits and regulations related to the Club's policies.

Finance Management:

  • Prepare HR Division's budget, manage and control division's expenditures within the agreed budget.

Human Resources Management:

  • Ensure annual staff assessments are performed on a timely basis.
  • Manage, supervise, and develop the Club staff potential.
  • Create staff motivation.
