Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR Management (HRM) functions for both direct and joint venture operations, managing approximately 1,000 employees.
- Lead HR activities including employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation & benefits.
- Manage employee and labor relations to ensure a positive working environment, addressing concerns and grievances effectively.
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate strategies and local labor laws
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure that the HR department supports business goals and operational efficiency.
- Oversee workforce planning to ensure the right staffing levels for operational needs, including recruitment and retention strategies for both direct employees and subcontractors.
- Provide leadership and development to a team of 4-5 HR staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles.
- Maintain and improve relationships with employees at all levels to drive engagement and productivity.
- Handle expatriate management, including compliance with immigration laws and coordinating support for expatriate employees and their families.
- Ensure that HR practices comply with Thai labor laws and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct HR data analysis and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
- A minimum of 5-7 years of HR management experience, ideally within a manufacturing or OEM automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in employee relations and managing large workforces, particularly in a mixed environment of local workers, subcontractors, and expats.
- Proven track record of leading HR teams and improving HR processes to support business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Fair to good English language proficiency.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Experience in handling joint ventures and multi-site HR management is an advantage.
