Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of sub-consolidated financial statements and related schedules.
- Collaborate closely with the front office to ensure accurate transaction recording.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions for the covered entities.
- Manage the month-end closing process for the covered entities.
- Work with team members to perform detailed financial analysis.
- Support the ongoing development of financial and accounting systems.
- Take part in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for new accounting systems.
- Provide assistance during the year-end audit and tax processes.
- Support other accounting functions and handle ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- University degree or Higher Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a real estate investment firm, property developer, or real estate-related service provider.
- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Result-oriented with good time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Experience with advanced Excel functions (e.g., macros) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Xero and Microsoft 365 is a plus.
- Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Senior Accountant role.
