Accounting Manager Position:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance sales function from the global manufacturing centre, Chonburi Thailand selling internationally across the company global network.
- Manage Accounts Payable team supporting both local Thai companies & Head Office.
- Manage any future International Finance work as arising, ensuring robust processes are followed as well as effective communication to overseas business units.
- Able to coordinate high volume of transactions and approvals with robust and efficient processes.
- Provide high quality reporting including development of KPI targets to ensure workload is managed effectively and efficiently.
- Overseeing the accounting operations and ensuring the adequacy of internal control.
- Strictly follow compliance rules & regulations to ensure accounting standards are followed.
- Performing other tasks / assignments as required for Manager.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or higher.
- At least 5 years of experience in AR and AP experience, demonstrable experience at managing a team.
- Excellent written and spoken English is important.
- Strong accountant comfortable in all aspects of global large scale manufacturing.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including strong excel skills
- A willingness to support the wider finance team with advice, direction & sharing best practice.
- Familiar with Thai accounting standards and relevant legal requirements.
