Accounting Supervisor - Overseas Factory

Responsibility

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the overseas factory.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with corporate finance to align with financial goals and policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with factory management.
• Monitor expenses and revenues to align with the budget.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and international accounting standards.
• Prepare for and support internal/external audits.
• Oversee cost control and analyze the factory's cost structure for improvements.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and train the local accounting team on best practices.
• Liaise with other departments (e.g., HR, procurement, operations) for financial data.
• Communicate with the head office on accounting-related updates.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure efficiency and security in financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience overseeing accounting functions for an overseas factory is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Good command in English is required.
• Base in Bangkok and can travel to Chonburi Factory
