Position: Manager/Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
Location: Bangkok
Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), is responsible for assisting in designing, implementing, and administering the company's compensation and benefits programs. The role will focus on ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with the other departments to support the company's compensation strategy, manage employee benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws. This role also involves analyzing salary data, overseeing benefits plans, and providing day-to-day administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Compensation Strategy: Assist in developing and maintaining competitive compensation structures to attract, motivate, and retain talent. Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking to ensure compensation aligns with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs, ensuring smooth operations and communication with employees.
  • Salary Surveys & Benchmarking: Participate in and analyze external salary surveys to gather market data, recommend salary adjustments, and maintain competitiveness. Ensure alignment with compensation policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Compliance: Ensure that compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable labor laws and regulations. Stay updated on legislative changes affecting compensation and benefits policies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and propose improvements. Prepare regular reports on salary structures, benefits utilization, and cost trends.
  • Payroll: Operate and manage the payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits. Resolve discrepancies and ensure consistent application of compensation policies.
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to Head of Human Resources.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation and benefits or a similar role.
  • Experience with compensation analysis, benchmarking, and benefits administration.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement.
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to tasks and projects.
