Assistant Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to establish annual sales targets (volume, sales margin), marketing activity plans, and budgets on a yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  2. Work with the sales team to develop sales plans and individual targets for each sales representative, focusing on achieving overall sales goals and acquiring new customers.
  3. Monitor and track the sales team's performance to ensure monthly and quarterly sales targets are met.
  4. Analyze customer, market, and competitor activities, and collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to adjust pricing and promotional strategies to maintain competitiveness and meet targets.
  5. Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers across all channels.
  6. Coordinate with the Senior Sales Manager and Production team to align production plans and ensure timely delivery of products.
  7. Support the Accounting department with customer credit management by ensuring sales representatives follow up on outstanding payments.
  8. Identify and develop a robust distribution network within the country to drive company growth objectives.
  9. Recruit and onboard new team members for the sales team as needed.
  10. Conduct visits to potential new customers to assess opportunities and prevent channel conflicts before opening new accounts.
  11. Coordinate with the QC/QA team to maintain product quality standards.
  12. Oversee sales team responsibilities, including reviewing job descriptions, commission structures, and incentive scores.
  13. Approve new customer registration forms and purchase orders.
