Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team and attorneys to ensure timely submission of the firm's applications for IP firm rankings.
- Prepare and review submission materials, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compelling content.
- Stay updated with submission deadlines and requirements to ensure the firm's participation in various industry rankings and accolades.
- Proactively assist in the preparation of materials for client meetings, pitches, and presentations.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information to support attorneys in their client interactions.
- Collaborate with attorneys to create visually engaging presentations and materials to effectively showcase the firm's capabilities and achievements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic marketing and business development plans.
- Assist in identifying potential clients and business opportunities, conducting research on target industries and companies.
- Support the team in organizing events, webinars, and seminars to enhance the firm's visibility and client engagement.
- Foster strong working relationships with counterparts in other offices to ensure cohesive business development efforts across the firm.
- Coordinate and share relevant information with colleagues in other locations to enhance collaboration and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the firm's business development strategies.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the marketing and business development team to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years direct experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in business development, marketing, or a related role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with intellectual property (IP) law and the legal industry is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant business development tools.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrated analytical and research abilities to gather market intelligence.
