The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving process improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and leading projects aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Job Description:
- Improve manufacturing operations by reducing waste and product defects
- Design and monitor operating mechanisms to ensure the adequacy and efficiency of production processes.
- Supports the development, implementation of the plant Lean Strategy in alignment with COPEx Roadmap.
- Key Process Analysis: Evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Use tools such as process mapping, data analysis, and root cause analysis to diagnose issues.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet organizational goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Gather and analyze data to measure performance, identify trends, and support decision-making for improvements.
- Implementation of Solutions: Design and implement process changes, improvements, and best practices. Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful implementation and integration of improvements.
- Training and Mentoring: Train and coach team members and leaders on continuous improvement methodologies and tools. Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualification:
- 5 years of experience to implement Lean Six Sigma and Continueus Improvement Leader .
- Good communicate in English both written and spoken
- Certified Lean Master and/or Six Sigma Black Belt would be advantage
- Leadership, communication, coaching and training skills is a must
