A leading international company in the industrial and electronics sector is seeking an experienced Country Sales Manager (Thailand) to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and lead a high-performing team. This role requires a strategic leader with strong business development skills and expertise in managing key accounts, distributor networks and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve corporate objectives and annual revenue targets.
- Manage key accounts in Thailand, including major transplant businesses, while overseeing select accounts in Vietnam.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the sales engineering team, ensuring strong performance and business growth.
- Establish and grow distributor networks for two product lines to enhance market coverage.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage the sales and marketing budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product development.
- Support the development of business infrastructure in Thailand, including legal, logistics, and financial frameworks.
- Identify and assess potential alliances and acquisitions, contributing to expansion strategies and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and management systems, fostering sustainable business growth in Thailand.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, ideally in adhesives, industrial, or electronics sectors.
- In-depth understanding of the Thai market with the ability to navigate business operations seamlessly.
- Proven track record in business development, sales leadership, and key account management.
- Strong leadership abilities to recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach and a focus on achieving results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to foster business growth.
- Willingness to travel as required to drive market expansion and maintain key partnerships.
