Finance Business Partner
Responsibilities:
- Review and Reconciliation: Reviewing accounting records from the Share service team and reconciling all transactions. This task ensures accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Financial Perspective on Marketing Campaigns: Responsible for reviewing all marketing campaigns from a financial perspective. This involves assessing the financial impact and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Review and Control Accounting and Financial Operations: Overseeing overall accounting and financial operation activities, with a focus on the revenue area and transactions related to the loyalty program. It involves ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal group policies.
- Insurance Transactions: Assisting the insurance team with financial transactions related to insurance products, which may involve recording and reconciling financial data.
- Systems Implementation: Assisting in the implementation of financial systems and providing financial requirements for system upgrades or changes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Business Partnering: Acting as a financial business partner to other teams and Business Units (BUs) within the organization. This involves providing financial support and guidance to help achieve objectives and finding solutions when necessary.
- Collaboration with Tax Team and Auditors: Working closely with the tax team and internal auditors to ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies and relevant regulations.
- Control of Marketing Expenditure: Managing and controlling marketing expenditure to ensure it aligns with the budget commitments, helping the organization manage its costs effectively.
- Development of Financial Processes and Policies: Developing and maintaining business processes and financial policies (SOP) to strengthen internal controls, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ad Hoc and Project-Based Assignments: Undertaking ad hoc and project-based assignments aimed at enhancing business efficiency and addressing specific financial challenges or opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics is required.
- Work Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of work experience with a track record in finance and accounting roles.
Skills and Abilities:
- High Organizational Skills, which are crucial for managing and reviewing financial records and transactions accurately.
- Detail-Oriented, Logical Thinking, Problem-Solving Skills:
- Effective interpersonal skills are needed for collaborating with other teams and departments in a business partnering capacity.
- MS Office Proficiency and advantageous Software Knowledge like Oracle and Hyperion are considered advantages.
