Job Summary: The General Manager (GM) will oversee the overall operations of a service-oriented restaurant business, ensuring excellence in both service delivery and food quality. This role involves managing daily operations, staff leadership, customer satisfaction, and financial performance., while also fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently, maintaining high standards in service, food quality, health, and safety.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to optimize service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and exceptional dining experience.
  • Regularly assess service quality and take action to address any gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Train and develop staff to provide excellent service, including handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints effectively
  • Develop and manage the restaurant's budget, focusing on cost control, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and food costs, and implement corrective actions as needed with ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the owner/CEO on promotional activities, special events, and menu development.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, including partnerships, catering services, community, and property engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their preferences.
  • Handle customer feedback, both positive and negative, in a way that enhances customer loyalty.
  • Engage with customers directly, ensuring their dining experience meets or exceeds their expectations.
  • Work closely with the owner/CEO to develop long-term business strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the restaurant's reputation, market share, and profitability.
  • It is an important mechanism to drive and expand the business by providing strategies to enable the business to ROI (Return on Investment) to excellent.


Job Qualifications:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior management role within the restaurant or service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage restaurant operations, including staff management, financial oversight, and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software, POS systems, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
