· Develop and implement the quality division's strategic goals and objectives in alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
· Oversee the day-to-day quality activities, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources to meet quality targets.
· Build and lead a high-performing quality team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the quality and all divisions.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production and quality processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
· Champion innovation and technology adoption to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
· Encourage and support the implementation of new manufacturing techniques, automation, and digitization.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
· Extensive experience (typically 5 years) in quality management within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of
quality systems, tools, and methodologies.
· Solid knowledge of quality standards and certifications, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and regulatory requirements specific to the automotive industry.
· Proven experience in implementing and managing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
· Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Experience in conducting internal and external audits and managing relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
· Strong business acumen and the ability to balance quality objectives with operational and financial considerations
