About the Role
A confidential global manufacturing leader is seeking a Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple industrial zones. This role requires a hybrid leader with both technical excellence and strategic acumen, capable of managing regional compliance, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement in a matrix-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial control, compliance, and reporting across all operational sites in Thailand and neighboring Southeast Asian countries.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS, serving as the primary liaison for auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries, asset scrapping, and statutory reporting.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen internal controls, improve audit readiness, and maintain robust financial archives.
• Collaborate with Group Business Services on AP/AR/GL processes and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting in support of both local and group-level consolidation.
• Support transfer pricing documentation, budgeting, and financial forecasting with actionable insights.
• Oversee data alignment and reporting accuracy in Hyperion and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Actively engage with cross-functional stakeholders and regional finance leadership to support business strategy and compliance excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
• Strong track record in multinational manufacturing organizations.
• Deep expertise in financial reporting, compliance, internal control frameworks, and audit processes.
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Solid audit background (Big 4 experience is an advantage) with proven success in finance leadership roles.
• Fluent in Thai & English, both written and spoken.
• Agile and analytical, with the ability to balance detail-oriented execution with strategic vision.
• Willing to travel across Thailand and Southeast Asia as required.
