Head of Leasing


Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to surpass occupancy goals for both commercial and residential properties.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive factors.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set annual leasing targets and budget projections.
  • Oversee promotional initiatives to drive customer spending and boost tenant sales.
    Leasing Operations:
  • Work closely with marketing and property management teams to enhance property visibility and attract prospective tenants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and other industry professionals.
    Legal and Compliance Oversight:
  • Negotiate lease agreements to ensure terms are favorable and aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to leasing policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
    Financial Oversight:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine rental rates and lease terms.
  • Monitor and optimize rental income, occupancy rates, and overall leasing performance using financial metrics to achieve goals.
  • Manage the leasing budget, allocating resources efficiently to maximize impact.
  • Analyze leasing data and manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for the properties.
    Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage a team of leasing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team meets leasing objectives.
  • Create a collaborative, results-driven environment to foster team success.


    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in leasing management within the real estate sector.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and research skills.
  • Expertise in negotiating and executing lease agreements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and tenants.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage productivity independently.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
