HR & Admin Supervisor (Chinese Speaking) - Cafe and Restaurant Franchise Business

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily HR and administrative functions for the franchise's cafe and restaurant operations.
  • Handle recruitment processes for all positions, including baristas, chefs, servers, and management staff.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and local labor laws.
  • Manage employee relations, resolve issues, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, benefits, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Prepare and submit work permits and visa applications for Chinese employees and management, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor employee performance, conduct appraisals, and assist in career development and training programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage all employee-related documentation.
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and other welfare initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support, including office management, scheduling, and procurement of office supplies.
  • Handle internal communications in both Chinese and English, ensuring clear understanding across the team.
  • Assist in organizing employee events, workshops, and training sessions to promote company culture.
  • Support the senior management team with HR and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR and administration, preferably in the hospitality or franchise industry.
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
